Product Launch Campaign

I led the campaign concept design for RYU's 2018 fall outerwear launch, bringing their "Rule Your Universe" ethos to life in a way that actually felt authentic to the brand. The challenge was capturing RYU's motivational, urban energy and translating it into a campaign that resonated with their young, active audience.

I developed a visual and messaging strategy rooted in empowerment—the idea that your gear should help you take control of your day, your workout, your city. Every element of the campaign reflected that mindset, from bold imagery to copy that spoke directly to people who refuse to make excuses. The result was a cohesive launch concept that amplified RYU's brand presence and connected with their audience on a deeper level than just "buy this jacket."

Event Marketing

The client needed to fill their summer classes, so I designed a full campaign that hit multiple channels. I created an online invitation through Eventbrite, developed Instagram content to build buzz, and designed physical posters and leaflets for local distribution. The multi-channel approach worked—we filled every class slot from July through August 2022. Sometimes showing up everywhere your audience is makes all the difference.

I got full creative freedom to design a promotional e-blast for a product launch, so I went all in. Using animated GIFs and bold graphic typography, I created a visually dynamic email that effectively highlighted the product's key features, stopping people from scrolling. The goal was simple: make it eye-catching enough to stand out in a crowded inbox and memorable enough that people actually click through. The result was an e-blast that not only looked good, but also communicated value and resonated with the audience in a way static images never could.
