Blu Bathworks®

Website Refresh

SKILLS

In 2023, I led the creative direction and front-end development for blubathworks.com, working alongside the Product Manager and an external developer to build a custom e-commerce platform on WordPress. The challenge was creating a solution that fit Blu's unique B2B model—exclusive showroom access with tiered pricing and streamlined ordering for trade professionals.

I designed the secure client portal experience that gives verified showroom clients access to product pricing, technical documentation, and a custom quote-building system. The result was a clean, intuitive digital experience that transformed how Blu processes orders and set a new standard for how Architecture & Interior Design firms interact with suppliers across Canada. The platform cut down order processing time while keeping Blu's premium brand positioning front and center.

Online Award Campaign

SKILLS

The Interior Design Best of Year Awards

is a big deal—Blu Bathworks® was competing alongside luxury brands like Gessi and Agape. I designed a two-week digital campaign in Figma across email and social media to drive votes and traffic to the awards site.

Beyond just rallying votes, I used the campaign to showcase Blu's product innovation and craftsmanship through strategic visuals and storytelling. This elevated brand recognition and positioned Blu as a serious contender in the luxury bath space, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with established European brands.

Product Catalogue Refresh

SKILLS

For years, I designed and managed offset print production for Blu's three annual product catalogues—a massive undertaking involving coordination with printers, distributors, and internal teams. But in January 2023, I led the charge to kill the printed catalogues entirely.

I redesigned the entire catalogue system as a digital, eco-friendly experience that lived within our new interactive website and client portal. The shift wasn't just about going green—it was about creating a more dynamic, always-updated resource that clients could access anytime. The results spoke for themselves: we saw a 250% spike in client portal sign-ups within the first month, proving that the trade was ready to ditch the heavy binders for a smarter digital solution.

Showroom Sample + Packaging Design

SKILLS

I led a full redesign of Blu's product packaging, digging into customer feedback, market trends, and sustainability goals to figure out what needed to change. The mission: create premium, eco-friendly packaging that made unboxing feel special without blowing the budget.

I worked with showrooms and factories to develop concepts that looked and felt luxury while actually being good for the planet. After hunting down the most cost-efficient sustainable materials, I coordinated with vendors to get everything produced. The result? Packaging that clients loved, customers appreciated, and that backed up Blu's sustainability talk with real action. Turns out you don't have to sacrifice style to do the right thing.
